About Us

The name Hedonic Health comes from the psychological concept of hedonia — the capacity to experience pleasure, enjoyment, and positive emotion. In modern psychology, hedonic wellbeing isn’t about chasing constant happiness. It’s about restoring balance, feeling safe in your body, and being able to experience moments of ease, joy, and relief alongside life’s challenges.

At Hedonic Health, we believe that improving mental health means strengthening this capacity — while also supporting meaning, purpose, and healthy functioning in daily life.

We provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adolescents and adults, supporting concerns such as anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, burnout, and performance pressures. Our practice is led by a Clinical, Sport and Exercise Psychologist Registrar, integrating mental health care with performance psychology to help people thrive both personally and professionally.

Treatment is collaborative and tailored. We use proven approaches including CBT, ACT, and EMDR, alongside practical skills clients can use outside the session. With consent, we work closely with GPs and other health professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
